Formosa Chang 鬍鬚張 (Taipei)

With over 50 outlets in Taiwan and 2 outlets in Japan, Formosa Chang was founded in 1960 by 張炎泉先生 (Mr. Chang Yan Quan). Due to Mr. Chang's busy schedule, he didn't shave his beard and slowly, his customers started calling him "Hu Xu Chang" (鬍鬚張). That's how the name came about.

We went to the outlet near Xiaonanmen station as it was on our way to Carrefour.

Ordered the minced pork stew with rice (Lu Rou Fan/魯肉飯), pork slices with garlic & ginger (蒜泥白肉) and stewed cabbage (櫻花蝦白菜魯).

Katto (One-North) CLOSED

Katto serves sashimi fish, grilled flaked salmon and others, with their sides in convenient sashimi boxes. Their sides consist of wafu tomatoes, pickled cucumbers, pickled mushrooms, roasted edamame, miso butter corn and seaweed salad.

You can choose the main size (S$12.90) with two sides or mini size (S$7.90) with one side, together with white, brown rice or salad base.

Soon Soon Heng Bak Kut Teh 顺發肉骨茶 (新山 Johor Bahru)

Soon Soon Heng Bak Kut Teh is located along Jalan Serigala, right opposite of KSL City Mall. We placed our order for them to prepare while we wait for our seats. Choose from a variety of food items which you want in your Bak Kut Teh claypot such as the pork ribs, pork balls, pork kidneys, pork liver, mushroom, etc. They'll inform you once the table is ready.

Must order their salted vegetables "Mei Cai" 梅菜. Delish!

There's free Shuttle bus service from KSL City Mall to Johor Bahru Sentral.

From Exit 4, take the escalator up and you'll see Taipei 101 entrance.

Wait at the lobby where the Starbucks standing signage is.

Queue and wait for the staff to bring you up to Level 35.

The admission fee to 89th floor of Taipei 101 observatory will cost you NT$600 whereas you can have your coffee at Starbucks Level 35 with a minimum spending of NT$200 per person.

Having my breakfast with dark mocha frappuccino, croissant, sandwich and matcha strawberry swiss roll. Hmmm~
