Heng Heng Wanton Mee 兴兴云吞面 (Pontian 笨珍)

Read about "Heng Heng Wanton Mee" being the Original Pontian Wanton Mee from JohorKaki blog, made me tempted to try their noodle. It wasn't difficult to find the place as it is located quite near to the previous Wanton Mee stall that I have gone to.

At Heng Heng, you could order their noodle at 1 portion for RM3.50 (small) or RM4.50 (big), 1.5 portions of noodle at RM4.50 (small) or RM5.50 (big) or even 2 portions of noodles at RM6 (small) or RM7.00 (big). They do sell noodle, fishballs and wantons that are not cooked so you could bring home to cook.
How to get there?
Address: 766 Taman Anggerik, Jalan Parit Mesjid, Pontian, Johor

From Singapore, drive towards Kukup. Click here for directions.
  • Arriving in Pontian, at the cross junction before turning left to Kukup, make a right turn to Jalan Pontian
  • Drive straight and you'll drive across the bridge
  • In a distance, turn right towards Parit Mesjid / Jalan Wan Hussein
  • Drive straight and shortly, you'll see Jalan Anggerik signage
  • Turn left into the row of shophouses and "Heng Heng Wanton Mee" is located at one of the shophouses
  • Park your vehicle along the stretch of road
Opening hours
Daily from 9am to about 6pm except Fridays
Closed on Fridays

The noodle is mixed with tomato and chilli sauce which tastes a bit sour, sweet and chewy.
Comes with thin slices of char siew.
Their wantons are well-seasoned minced meat wrapped in the thin wanton skin. Nice!
Previously, I went to another Wanton Mee stall that is located a bit further up from Heng Heng Wanton Mee.
